Broken Images (1 post)

I'm setting up a Wordpress MU installation for my organization. It seems to be working correctly, except I can't view any uploaded images. They upload OK, but the images are broken.

This is an example of one of the broken images:
    http://blogs.polson.k12.mt.us/files/2008/10/sample1.jpg

    Which appears in this post:

This is installed on IIS (I know, I know) and I have URL rewriting working. I spoke with Micronovae (who make Mod-Rewrite) and they say its a problem with PHP or Wordpress.

If you use Microsoft's wfetch utility to get the image it tells you:

[STOP]Extra data detected on socket (server sent more data in previous response than client expected!!!)

The only thing I can think of is some kind of compression problem, like the browser expects a compressed file, but the server sends the uncompressed version. I've turned on and off all the compression settings that I can find in PHP and IIS, but it makes no difference (although it does break tinymce).

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

    It's WPMU 2.6.3 on IIS 6.0 and PHP 5.2.6
