WordPress MU

hi there.
I just noticed that when I change the default language defined in wp-config.php it works just fine for me, i.e. right now I have: define ('WPLANG', 'ro_RO'); so all new blogs are using the Romanian language in the back end.
BUT even if I go to Settings => General => blog language and choose English, the back end still stays in Romanian :-(

Any tricks I need to know?

Did you try changing language of some blog's backend to English, then logging out, clearing cookies and cache and logging into backend again?
I recall something like this happening a while ago... Clearing cache/cookies helped :)

nope, didn't help me...
