Hey guys, I have searched other threads but haven't had any luck to solving my problem. I haven't edited the htaccess.dist or the wp-config-sample file... nor do I have wp-config in the root folder. I am running another blog (wp) in the root of my site and am trying to install wp-mu in a folder called /fans. PHP version is 5.2.4, so doubt thats the prob.

I am getting this error message after I upload files and try to install:

Warning: constant() [function.constant]: Couldn't find constant VHOST in /home/adam2/public_html/fans/wpmu-settings.php on line 34
No WPMU site defined on this host. If you are the owner of this site, please check Debugging WPMU for further assistance.

    HELP!

Sorry, this thread can be closed.

The wp-config from the other wp installation in the root (not the sub folder i was installing wp-mu in) was causing the error.

Fix: temp rename the wp-config in your root untill after wp-mu installation

    :]
