WordPress MU

Hey, guys

I've got a few questions on the subject, hopefully someone here knows some workarounds :)

1. By default WPMU sends emails using wordpress@mydomain.tld in 'from' field.

I remember someone pointed where to change this, but I lost the bookmark. Anyone can refresh?

2. Where to tweak email subjects? For example, when a new blog is created, etc.
These subjects are stored somewhere - can we know where exactly? :)

#2 - isn't that in wpmu-functions.php?

You must always keep a changelog of all changes you do in your installation so that it helps you alot in future modifications
