Instead of the designated home page, in one of the blogs in the WPMU installation, and index listing shows up with /parent directory and /cgi bin.

If I change the designated home page to another blog page, then that one doesn't load either. All of the pages do load with the full URL path.

I've been fooling around with this blog trying to get domain mapping working on it, but cannot imagine that anything I've done would affect this.

    Any ideas?

"trying to get domain mapping working"
WPMU should be installed at root directory of a domain or subdomain not inside a subdirectory. So you might want to create subdomain like

I've been working just fine with wpmu installed in a subdirectory. This sudden occurance of the home page of a single blog just happened. I'm not trying to resolve the domain mapping right now, I just thought to give that info in case someone thought that would cause a problem in directing the index or home page to load.

If it;ls sudden and just happened, then something somewhere changed. My bet is on the server. Even an upgrade or a recompile could throw things out of whack.
