WordPress MU

I've been working with WPMU on my localhost and everything was going great, unfortunately my localhost runs off of an Apache server and my live host is on a Windows Server. I'm unable to install the platform on my Windows Server. Is it possible?

Also, a plain statement 'I'm unable to install the platform on my Windows Server' doesn't really explain your problem(s).

The problem I'm getting has to do with mod_rewrite:
RequirementsApart from WordPress RequirementsApache mod_rewrite - if you had WP installed already with fancy URLs then you should be fine.

has anyone ever used a windows server with WPMU?
