Call functions from posts/pages? (2 posts)

Forgive me if this is a topic which has been discussed to death as I am sure it has, but I failed to find it in searching.

I have created a simple php file filled with tons of useful functions that I want to be able to call (or allow users to call) via key words like say placing a "[CALL_FUNCTION]" tag within a page or post, I know how to do it via creating widgets and placing them in the side bar but I need to be able to easily drop java, php, and other code within pages (for photo albums, games, etc.) and I have went through the trouble of creating all of the code in the php file I am talking about, and I place it in mu_plugins so that it is called on every page load.

Now how do I map to that within a post? I don't want to allow java/php/etc. I just want to allow users to call the code I have pre-designed for them.

    Hope that makes sense!

    Take it easy gang
