    anyone seeing this?
    we're on mu 2.6.5
planning on looking into logic behind live.com's junk mail catcher, but i'm sure this may be challenging.

    Thanks,
    Joe

what do you mean? do you mean that you send out emails like me@live.com and then wonder that they get caught in spamfilters? or do you even send them to @live.com email recipients?

read up on SPF http://www.openspf.org/ or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sender_Policy_Framework

basically you are pretending to send emails from @live.com domain which you are not and you are not allowed to do it.

Keep in mind that WPMU sends emails from wordpress@yourdomain.com

If you didn't change this default address, or if wordpress@yourdomain.com doesn't exist - your messages are likely to be treated as SPAM.

I mean when I create a new user as admin an email with acct name & password is sent to the user. This is being tagged as spam & put in junk folder for users who have @live.com email addresses.
Yes, I did update that email address to the appropriate address in our company.

    Thanks,
    Joe

As Ovi suggested above, did you turn on SPF verification?

Are spam filters really a topic related to WPMU? No. WPMU delivers emails the same as any other.
