WordPress MU

Hi all: i'm new to WP, but have recently been successful in setting up a blog that uses the PodPress plugin and a theme that has been customized. This blog is in a sub-folder of the site. http://mainehumanities.org/podcast/index.php

We want another blog ... maybe 3 or 4 more, in the future. Trying to figure out whether to use WPMU or just install another WP blog.

if use MU, will the current blog remain uneffected?

can i use the PodPress plugin?

seems like, probably could use same theme, right?

we have a lot of space, so space is not an issue, i think.

appreciate any thoughts of "gotchas" very much.

from looking at the MU information, it just seems like there are more "warnings", so i'm scared!

I would say that I had a similar idea, but wanted my blogs to be independent, such that they had their own users, and were only loosely affiliated to the main site (or first blog). I assumed all would be equal in WPMU and went with it, unfortunatly, I have not yet managed to figure out how to get users to be users of individual blogs, without being usres of the primary site. So it isn't quite as straightforward as you migth think. I hope you get some alternative views here, because that might help me too :P .
