While going to fix a few things in my database I noticed something a bit odd. In my site_categories table there are between 60 and 90 entries that worry me.
catID slot is filled with a number which is normal.
The category name field has a * in it and nothing else.
The category nicename is just a random number like 1470
The time stamp is set to NOW
I also noticed in the root area of my files there are about 250-270 files named "core.9269" with random numbers on each one. They are all about 50MB and have 600 for permissions. I honestly have no idea where they came from, and don't know if they have been there for a while or not.
