I've tried to look at some posts here to find my problem, but I can't seem to find it. I uploaded the wpmu directory into my web root directory. I then installed with no problems, choosing the subdomain option. I named the blog, put in an email, and never got the email. I found a post here saying just to edit it in phpMyAdmin. Fine, done. The problem is, I don't know where the blog is. There is no subdomain created, and typing in http://www.mysite.com/wpmu/ just redirects to my home page. It's unclear where to go from here.

ok, after looking through more threads, I decided to download and use the 4-7-2006 build. I have successfully installed and created a blog. The problem now is, eventhough I have my blog in web root, I still have to visit blog1.mysite.com/wpmu/ instead of just the subdomain itself. What am I doing wrong?
