Blank Screen (7 posts)

I have installed MU on my root, and completed the install-helper.

I added the information required, for example name of database, and how I want my blogs configured.

I entered this, and then the install just went to my index.php page, which was blank, and nothing happened.

    Can anyone advise?

    MANY thanks!!

    Some details will help.
Eg, are you running WPMU on Windows or Linux, are you on shared host or on dedicated server, what option (subdomain or subdirectory) did you choose during installation?

Its on a windows, shared host. Does that make a difference?

Blank screen means a fatal PHP error. Check your php error log, and if php logging isn't turned on then you'll need to turn it on, restart PHP and then get the error again and then check the log

Well, first of all, Win host is not a good solution for WPMU.
Second this, GoDaddy hosting is not a good thing for WPMU too.

My suggestion would be: get a new host (linux-based).

Why shouldn't Win host be a good solution for MU? Did I miss something?

Just curious, since I haven't faced any probs so far. =)
