WordPress MU

Just a quickie - there's a new category at WPMUDEV.org for the general public to submit and share their own plugins / themes through - BuddyPress!

(nothing Premium about it - it's just a place for hosting and sharing :)

We're hoping to run another plugin contest down the line too, like the one last year for wpmu, whaddya reckon... think it'll be a good idea?

Oh, and BTW there's already a free BP plugin there (Terms of Service)

I think that'll even be a great idea! :)
So far there are only two plugins, so I'm looking forward to the contest. Sadly I can't code, else I would attend immediately.

Any information or more details about the contest (esp. time)?

I am not able to activate buddypress1.1.2 on my MUWP. Every time i try to activate wp crashes and i get a white screen of death, i tried normal upload and install option and tried transferring the extracted files from zip to my plugings directory both (plugins & mu-plugins).

P.S: I have my site hosted on Freehostia.

Please Help

there will be a new version out in a bit. 1.1.2 isn't even the latest version.
