Hi,
i'm using WPMU primarily for private setups with only a few blogs hosted and mostly driven by the admin. Is there any chance to get an option to enable the theme- and plugineditor that the stand-alone WP carries? Would be great?
Probably there's an easy hack to get 'em working?
Thanks!

Why do you need them? :)
Do they offer something you can't do using more usual tools?
Hmm sometimes someone needs something in some cases ;-)
They're just usable for quick edits - especiall for people not familiar with linux editors like vi or pico.
But i think we shouldn't discuss if anyone can imagine they're usable or not - as they are already there in WP and WPMU is much more that just a bloghosting tool for strangers i though it would probably easily possible to integrate them and enable them by option.
There's already tons of threads - even recent ones - about the theme editor.

I shall repeat. you shouldn't be editing php files on the server, as any small slip up can bring down your entire site.
