Hi,

the URLs for the default blog in Subdirectory installations point to /blog/... by default. As i know there's some stuff hardcoded for that: is it possible to rename this instead of just add another blog?

I'd have to dig for the trac ticket on the subject but I would have sworn that you can edit this at Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalink.

We just had this discussion a few days ago as well. Maybe Andrea should cover this on the tutorial site.

If you can, it must be in the beta. Or I missed it in 2.7.

Yeah, I probably should tackle this at some point.

edit: I don;t have any subdirectory installs to look at but from looking at the code, if you can't edit it on the permalink page, I don't see what the issue is with going into the database directly and editing the permalink_structure option.

I'm still not feeling well today so I may be missing something.

I still remember a rather long discussion on this topic though.
