Problem recognizing backlinks to my wpmu ! (3 posts)

Hi all, nice to see you again

I try to check for new backlinks to my site using Google search, Google Analytics, and Awstats. I have two blog systems, one has around 1000 blogs, the other has around 10,000 blogs. In Google search I do not use the link:www.example.com function for it is useless. I just put my url in the search box. But most of the results are from the subdomains of my blogger systems, thus I get lost and can't easily recognize backlinks from outside my sites.
In Google Analytics and Awstats I can exclude words, so I exclude the domain name of my blog system, but the problem is that I can only exclude one word, and since I have two blog systems and 5 other sites, I see thousands of backlinks, but mostly from my own sites and I get bored and tired searching within those links for something from sites I don’t own.
I want to be able to exclude many words at the same time in order to just see the backlinks from other sites on the web.

Does anyone know of a way to do this, either in Google search, Google Analytics, awstats, or any other tool on the internet?

    Thanks in advance

This should work in google search:

    link:example.tld. -inurl:example.tld -inurl:myothersite.tld

I can't test this right now as my library thinks google is a sex/porn site. *sigh* Again.

Hacked access and can't get that line to work.

If you use Google's Webmaster's Tools, they separate backlinks into both external and internal. While they don't allow you to remove sites from that list, you can download that list as a *.csv file and probably use a spreadsheet program to filter out any link you need to. (You're on your own for doing the spreadsheet.)
