    Hello -

I am trying to set up a new team blog that is segmented primarily by regional subdomains and content but that also share a common brand, including design, advertisements, and certain "national" content.

The best example of something similar I have seen is Citysearch,

For example, the website would be structured as such:

    Denver.MyDomain.com
    Dallas.MyDomain.com
    Houston.MyDomain.com
    Chicago.MyDomain.com
    Pennsacola.MyDomain.com
    Balitmore.MyDomain.com

    and so on.

Each regional blog would be somewhat autonomous and written by a local author on local topics and content and containing some local ads, but there would also be a national feed (product reviews) and national ads as well that would be shared across all of the domains.

All of the authors across the country could occasionally provide the national content, but it would usually be written by a central editor.

I am sure that a setup like this is possible - is it simply a question for a normal Wordpress installation with some sort of special plugin, or is this a situation where Wordpress MU would be appropriate?

    Thanks -
