    Hi,
Just wondering, how much memory usage can I expect for one single Wordpress MU installation with a hundred blogs?
Currently I have a VPS (LAMP) with Wordpress MU fresh installation with a couple of dummy blogs, the memory could reach 120 MB and when it's idle it's about 60 MB.
My VPS's memory is 256 MB (burstable to 512 MB), will it be enough to server a hundred blogs?

Also if anyone has a VPS/dedicated server running Wordpress MU, can you guys tell me the details about:
    1. how much memory usage on your server
    2. how many wordpress MU installation and blogs

    Cheers

Like I've said in the other threads about it, it depends. If you have a hundred blogs and they're not really busy, you can get by with less.

You can also have a dozen blogs on WPMU, have a ton of traffic, and need 1 GIG.

bump your package up to 512 megs of RAM. It should be okay for a while.

    Thanks for the reply andrea,
Currently I'm switching to lighttpd. With the same condition as above the memory just reaches 24 MB at the most. So I'm quite happy at the moment.

    Cheers
