Pre-define Categories (3 posts)

Instead of letting each blogger create his own categories, is there a way to pre-define some categories and have the blogger choose a category from a list on his blog site? My goal is to get a more organized set of categories. To prevent something like one blogger has a category of "golf", and another one has a "golfer". I think it would be better if both of them use "Golf", which is defined by admin.

    Thanks

I would also be interested in an answer on this question - though it's some months old.

Also it would be interesting how to work with those link/post-category mixup. "Blogroll" appears as categorie when posting articles? is this really correct? looks strange.

Yep, the link categories and the blog categories got combined. No, it won't be changed in the core code, unless someone writes a plugin.

Also, I'm not sure where the main categories are defined, but it's in the code. To change them, you'll have to hack. Again, until someone comes up with a plugin. :D
