    Have finished installing WPMU 2.7.1

All is good untill try upload any kind of media.

Can select the media then click upload. Shows it is uploading and performs the 'crunching'

    Then reports the following error

    'Missing a temporary folder.'

    Nothing is uploaded..

Also running BBPress plugin with WPMU...

    TIA...

Sounds like a problem with your PHP setup not having a tmp folder specified (or it has one specified but it doesn't exist / php doesn't have the rights to it).

Are you on a hosted server or a dedicated machine? Can you upload using the normal upload (not the flash uploader)? Do you get a different error?

    It is a dedecated server

    •Operating System : FreeBSD
    •Server : Apache/1.3.41 (Unix) FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.31 OpenSSL/0.9.7m

I am having the same problems running WPmu 2.7.1 and now WPMU 2.8.4a

I am just trying to remember what else has changed, but this has been a problem now for over a week.

I figured this out, it was a apache upgrade on the hosting end. They updated it finally! Woo Hoo!
