featured blogs and global tags (4 posts)

    G'day

    Two things really...

Firstly... I'd like to have a featured blog on my front page - just like on wordpress .com. So it would randomly pick an excerpt from one of the blogs on my site. Ideally I'd like to be able to decide which blogs are eligible to be featured and which ones aren't (some pay and some don't).

Second... Sitewide tags. I have installed this on my site - and it's on it's own blog. I'm wanting the global feeds on my main page rather than the tags.mysite page. Or at least a feed from all the blogs across my site.

Are there plugins to do this? (or a post or two that I didn't find in my search).

I'm not really techie so the "WPMU for Dummies" version would be great please.

    thanks in advance

    Stef

What nav bar? The sitewide tags just pumps all new posts to whatever blog you specify. If you do switch, it won't go back and re-get all previous posts.
