Hi, I'm trying to get blog posts written by random users to appear in a section like 'Latest Blog Posts' on the home page. At the moment the main page only seems to show posts written by the admin, and their responses from whoever - but how would user blog posts show up too?
Using Wordpress 2.8.1 and Buddypress 1.0.3
Thanks!
You'll need a most recent posts plugin & widget (if you want a widget).

Thanks Andrea - I've added Sebastien Berthiau's "Recent Posts Embed" but while I get the widget appearing on the main home page, it only says "RECENT SITE WIDE POSTS - There are no recent blog posts, why not write one?" even after logging in on another browser and creating another blog.
My main Wordpress blog is on http:_____.com/tmc/wpmu/ and the other user test blog is on http:_____.com/tmc/wpmu/mikegmail/. Even with the test user having the "Recent Posts Embed" activated, the same empty message appears even on that user's page after a new post. Hmm.
Most of the recent posts plugins & widgets I know exclude the following:
- hello world posts
- non-public blogs
Helloooooo,
can someone help me out with general questions;
I am looking to create a widget that will contain input from different blogs of mine, text, video, live video, picture/info slider.
A- Is it possible?
B- if is, Is there a common widget to use, or will I need to build one from scratch?
Thank yoooooou
