I've upgraded to 2.8.4a and turned off some plugins that were causing some problems...but my problem is - I've got the old school dashboard layouts...menus across the top - no left column menus at all. What the heck did I do and how can I fix it?? I'm desperate as I have to train teachers in my district on their blogs on Friday and all my screen shots are from the more current versions...what file do I need to update to get back to the most recent layout?

Menus across the top? Like with the admin bar that was there briefly?

Is there *anything* down the left side?

    (screenshots plz?)

I've seen the dashboard get funny when the css and background images don't load that looks reminiscent of the old look. But it's never had menus across the top like the old one did.
