WordPress MU

I've installed WPMU, then BuddyPress and bbPress. All is fine, except, there is no "Register" link on the main page? Isn't there supposed to be one for new users to register to use the site?

If my memory is correct, I was told that the register link is not built in to the software. What I had to do was create a "Register" link on my home page. It should link to http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-signup.php

Let me go try that. (Could it be that simple?) This "Meta" applet is the pits. I've been on quite a few forums and I've not seen a good thing about them. Have you had any luck editing Widgets?

Hmph - it didn't work. I get a screen that says

You must first login, and then you can create a new blog.

Found it. And I thought I've checked this page a million times!
Site Admin > Site Options

Allow new registrations Disabled
Enabled. Blogs and user accounts can be created.
Only user account can be created.
Only logged in users can create new blogs.

Disable or enable registration and who or what can be registered. (Default=all)

This can be closed now! Hope this helps someone as well.
