WordPress MU

   I have the same problem as:
   http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/topic/14223

   However, it gives this error in all browsers.
   I am trying to install it on a localhost, which has an alias.
   One is called http://webserver and the folder it is in is called wpmu.
   (http://webserver/wpmu)

   I tried to install it on a PHP5.3 windows server and a PHP5.3 ubunutu server. I followed the installation steps (inc the 777 chmod).
   I get a lot of errors, but they are notices and deprecated (its a development machine, so its fine)

   If i fill in the wrong user credentials in any browser, it says cookies are not accepted. That seems odd.
   If I fill in the right credentials, it redirects. It says this:

   http://webserver/wpmu/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fz0rf%2Fwordpress-mu%2Fwp-admin%2F

   Any ideas?

   WPMU expects to see something like localhost.localdomain, not a single word for the domain name.

   That worked great!

   In my /etc/hosts i saw that ubuntu already made the .lan
   domain as a suffix.
   Installing it from webserver.lan worked like a charm.
