   I did a manual update from 2.7.1 to 2.8.4a and everything is working alright, but now I'm missing the Site Admin menu. I'm logged in as admin. The installation files I used were WPMU files, not single user wordpress, and all the blogs work just fine.

   If I try to access wp-admin/wpmu-blogs.php I get this error:

   You do not have permission to access this page.

   But I'm logged in as admin, and it says "Howdy, admin" in the top right corner.

   Any ideas?

   I experienced something like this too, but I can't remember if it was that page. On mine, the new leftside link for My Blogs goes to:

   /wp-admin/index.php?page=myblogs&updated=1

   Which is just a simple list with none of the helpful metadata and links that were shown in the old listing. (I am upgrading from 2.7 due to the worm.)
