Hi,
For a couple of reasons, I have to be able to manage a wordpressMU (+buddypress) from another domain.
http://www.mysite.com would be the front site
and admin would be at something like http://www.myadminsite.com
Is it even possible? even via hacks ?
It would take some major hacks. I was looking at this in regards to multiple domains and the big issue is that all your uploads would be wonky without some major code revisions. It might be possible, but it wouldn't be pretty.
Is one of the big reasons for ssl? Because people have been working on that. :)
