Dashboard site admin pages rendering incorrectly (3 posts)

After a difficult time installing WordPress MU 2.8.4a on my Windows hosting site at GoDaddy, I have got it partially working, but the Dashboard and related site admin pages are not rendering correctly. Looks like some sort of CSS problem, but I'm not sure and don't know how to resolve it.

Basically, I get the header, icons, and such strung out over the top portion of the page and whatever function I select appears at the bottom. I actually seem to be able to use the functionality of the site admin pages, but the rendering is all screwed up.

Anyone got any suggestions about how I might be able to fix this?

    Thanks!

If they don't have the IIS module for Windows hosting to rewrite the URLs properly, it will never work.

Note in the requirements of MU it says an Apache server. In other words, not Windows hosting.

Thanks, Andrea! I just managed to get it working properly by re-unpacking all the files, deleting the live site directory (leaving the DB in place), re-uploading all the WPmu directories/files, setting the permissions on the directories on the site, and then re-starting the whole thing. So while I still do not know the exact cause or how I might have been able to edit one or more files to patch it, my overall problem is now solved. Hooray! (I've been at this since last night with only a couple hours sleep along the way. I think it's time for a snooze now!)

    All the best,

    will
