6 weeks ago I installed MU on an add-on domain. I had to do some monkeying around to get it installed, but it is up and running fine.

I am attempting to install it on another add-on and keep getting the 500 internal blah blah blah error.

The permissions are set right. I have tried it by leaving the htaccess.dst file in, and have changed the permissions to delete it. I have tried by attempting to let the install create the config file, I have tried to complete one and install.

    All for naught.

The url (I sense a hearty belly laugh) http://howtogetridofgroundmoles.com.

Help! I need to get this installed as soon as possible as part of an experiment.

    Thanks!

Normally, if you really need more than one install of MU, it's far better off to have them as seperate web accounts.

Is there a reason you're going with a second install? You can actually have a second *site* in mu, which gives you another domain where users can sign up for blogs off that.

If you can tell me what you're dong, I can offer better suggestions (hopefully) than trying to wrangle it on another add-on domain (which, isn't really recommended).

Thanks Andrea. I will try the second account approach.

I am just trying some half baked idea out and wanted to set up a model to see if I should go ahead and let it rise ;).
