Import WXR on new blog creation? (5 posts)

I use WPMU as a development environment for new themes and plugins. As part of my development workflow, I have a WordPress export file I created that contains posts, pages, comments, etc that I load when I create a new blog. My question is, is there any way to trigger an automatic import of this file whenever I create a new blog?

I'm not sure if it supports it, but try out the New Blog Defaults plugin.

Nope, it doesn't support that. But, there's a Blog Templates plugin out there that does want you want (albeit in a different way):

And there's alos a plugin out there that sets up a bunch of dummy content, including tests blogs for MU sites.

And I still can't remember what it's called! Driving me nuts... (granted, it's a short trip, but still)

The Blog Templates plugin doesn't do quite everything I'd like (no tags, no way to do sub-categories), but it's better than having to manually import the WXR file. The setup was a bit tedious, but it only has to be done once.

    Thanks for the pointer!
