WordPress MU

I am sorry but i havent been able to find any info on this. I keep getting other sub domain isntall issues when i search for it.

I was wondering if it is possible to install the main blog on a subdomain like blog.example.ca and then all the blogs users create would be instaled as blog2.example.ca?

Are there any issuess or special requirments for instalign wordpress mu this way.

By default, you can install WPMU in a subdomain such as blog.example.ca. But, WPMU will generate new.blog.example.ca for a new blog rather than blog2.example.ca.

You'd have to look into a domain mapping plugin to get what you want.
