   Not sure if announcing new plugins is accepted here, but I've read a few posts recently of people looking for ways to customize the admin menu. I've adapted the WPlite plugin for WPMU so that menu items can be hidden from everyone except Site Admins. You can read more about WPlite-MU if you're interested.
