I own a wordpress mu, using buddypress. I am going to need a company for the tech support and back up as it grows. Does anyone know of any? Does anyone recommend any?

Grab any WP or WPMU-specific freelancer and ask if they do anything like this. Some do.
A lot of the big-name WP freelancers out there are quite experienced in MU as well, even if it isn't specifically listed on their site. You may want to ask on the wp-por mailing list and at job.wordpress.net.
