I have only just discovered Wordpress MU and have been told that it is what I need to construct a website that will be used to sell websites to small businesses and private individuals. The intention is to use Wordpress as the basis for these sites.
Is it possible to reproduce the images of the templates and the corresponding links to the Wordpress theme library for prospective customers to choose which theme they want without infringing copyright?

Posted 2 weeks ago #Theoretically, yes provided the theme is released under GPL. However, I know that in practice many developers are lax with other's copyright/trademark when it comes to images. For instance, I recall seeing a theme with the Apple logo as the banner. Obviously a trademark violation.
Use your best judgement, but most themes should be fine.

You can install as many themes as you like from the Wordpress theme library. They are ALL gpl there.
