WordPress MU

I am in the process of designing a WPMU site (before I install it) and I want to simplify the user's dashboard so there are not so many options...I have searched the forums and documentation but cannot find the instructions on how to do this...can someone point me to where this is described???

I installed the cets_simple_dashboard but nothing happens. There's no menu related to the plugin or a way to customize it.

Yep, you're right. There's no menu. All the options are on Site Admin - Options.

I moved all my plugins off of wpmudev to wordpress.org. The directions here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wpmu-simple-dashboard/installation/

tell you to go to site admin -> options to configure it.
