i have posted this in the Miscellaneous, not shure if that was the right forum to post it in. so, its a doublepost ;)

i tried to develop the site myself (with a few friends) but we are stuck, and progress is really SLOW!!!

the site so far is located at http://www.pt-eliten.no/wordpress-mu

our "vision" or framework for the site is located at
    http://www.pt-eliten.no/visjon.html

we can do CSS ourselves but the PHP part is going so freaki`n slow..

    what we need(first off) is:
*a custom ad plugin ore a plugin "hack"(look at the visjon.html and you will see all the adspaces we want..)
*a blogsetup for the possibility for users having blogs ( that means a bloggroll in the sidebar and a site where there is a list of the blogs with avatars that "loads" in the mainframe, but still having the sidebar, header and footer visible)

this is probably a walk in the park for you developers who do this all day long... but for us.. damn.. hehe

please contact me at fredrik@trondheimflair.no ore admin@pt-eliten.no

for more information about what functions we want and to give us a price estimate.

if you are a busy developer, that is not a problem, since the project is "split" into two parts, and we can easily start up and have a site running for a few months while you finish your other jobs :)

As you note, you already posted this previously:

    http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/topic/15876

The main developer of wpmu doesn't take on projects I believe as he works full time for Automattic and has a little one to also keep him busy. Your best bet may be with a freelancer:

    http://wpmututorials.com/freelancers/

    http://premium.wpmudev.org/wpmu-jobs/

You can also try the wp-pro mail listing list:

    http://lists.automattic.com/mailman/listinfo/wp-pro

I would suggest removing all of the comments though and add in more specifics as to what you're looking for and needing. A better thread title in the future would also be a plus.

    Hope this helps

    thanks bro :)

im still trying to fix problems myself, and i am getting there.. just adding the plugins and trying it out, then i can edit the CSS so it looks the way i want.. time consuming...

if i am lucky, all i need to pay someone for is a custom advert plugin.. :)

Custom ads are probably better off being coded into the theme templates. That way you've got good control over them.

There are some good ad related plugins (and ad optimised themes) over on http://premium.wpmudev.org/ But membership costs.

membership is not an issue, we are starting up a business of the site so we expect cost`s... hehe
and since we are doing the site mostly by ourselfs the cost`s dropped like a brick! ;)

    @SteveAtty,
to intrigrate them into the theme template is a little "high tech" for us right now.. if we cant get our hands around the adproblem we will most likely pay someone to intrigrate the adspots we would like to have.

Depends on what you;re using to drive the adspots. Google? OPenX? OIO Ad manager?

that last is is a plugin for WP, you just copy & paste functions in your template.

i cant find the OIO Ad manager, at this moment im using kadom admanager.. and that is not the plugin that we are going to end up going with..
