WordPress MU

Has anyone else noticed that deleting posts, especially multiple ones, is slow... like seriously slow? Its not a single MySQL query that is doing it because none of them are getting logged in my slow query log but deleting 8 posts must have taken over 30 seconds.

I find that the time it takes to add posts and to delete them is one of the major annoyances with WPMU.

Well I think I might have found one thing. I've got the site wide comments and posts plugin which creates wp_site_posts and wp_site_comments and neither of them had an index on the blog_id column
