    Hi Everyone!

I was so excited installing wpmu yesterday since I manage 30 international students who would like to have their own blogs.

I used to use the single-user wordpress (WPSU?)
so I was familiar with the installation procedures and all.

There was no problem installing the WPMU on my networksolutions server.
    WPMU site: http://nikkeiportal.com/i/

    But now comes the problem.
I tried to install new blogs, for example http://twt.nikkeiportal.com/i/
    but nothing appears.

The new user and new blog notifications come to my e-mail
but I cannot go to the main page or the backend of the new blog.

The main administration dashboard for nikkeiportal.com/i/ and its page
    work fine.

    How can I fix it?
I checked some sites and this forum but couldn't find any answers.

    Please help!

    Sincerely,

    Akira from Japan.

I am not 100% that this is why, but I would look to make sure that your wildcard redirect is turnd on.

Both in the readme.txt and on the instaltion screen, it mentions wildcard subdomains. These need to be enabled in apache and in the dns records.

    Thank you for your responses!

Following your advise, I am trying to configure the DNS
wildcard as you said reading Ma.tt's post.
    http://ma.tt/2003/10/wildcard-dns-and-sub-domains/

Looks like I already have the "*.nikkeiportal.com" added
but I have no idea how to do the apache part.

Sorry for being such a noob, but I can't find the configuration place
for apache in the network solutions control panel.

    Anybody have links about it?
I'll check the networksolutions forums and webpage as well.

You may have to ask support to do it.
