WordPress MU

Running WPMU 2.7.1 and BP 1.2, clicking the "Create new account" link (or going directly to http://dailynewarker.com/register) just redirects the user back to the homepage. Here's the home page, the registration link is at right (using the new BP theme).

I'm really at my wits end on this: searched the interwebs for a couple of days and couldn't find anyone else with this issue. Appreciate the help!

This is a BP issues, and I know they've covered it over in their forums.

Thank you. I know there are a bunch of similar issues, but I don't think they've quite covered this one. Still, I'll go ask over there.

If I get this solved, I'll post the link here for anyone else having this issue.

Okay, in pretty sure this is not a BuddyPress problem. I disabled every plugin (including BuddyPress) and switched to the default theme. Clicking Register on the login page still redirects to the home page.

Any other ideas why this might be occurring? Or, is there something I can try to reset to get this working again?

Ah, no, this is definitely a BP issue. I switched back to BuddyPress default and disabled everything again: the wp-signup form was working, even with the BuddyPress plugin active.

The problem seems to be when I enable the BP 1.2 theme: the http://dailynewarker.com/register link is redirecting to the homepage.
