WordPress MU

I have an instance of wordpress mu installed on my server. I have pages set up to redirect to other links. For example, http://www.domain.com/site will redirect to http://www.domain.com. But, I need it to work the same way with the www stripped off so that domain.com/site will redirect to http://www.domain.com and right now that does not work. Can anyone provide any tips?

What do you have currently as a rewrite setup? Easiest method would be just to remove the 'www' bit from the RewriteCond you have currently but without seeing what you have no, it may depend.

I'm fairly new to wordpress, what file do I find the rewrite setup in?
