Quick Updates takes 2-5 minutes to save (4 posts)

This has been going on for a week or more.

When I edit posts and use the "Quick Edit" ajax feature and save my changes, it literally takes a couple of minutes each time before the post to the DB completes and I can move on to the next.

I'm experiencing this problem in Google Chrome (4.0.249.89) and Firefox (3.5.8), although it does seem to be a bit worse in Chrome (where I'm using Gears).

In Firebug, I'm getting some errors (including JQuery) in the Console, although I have no idea if these have anything to do with my problem.:

    1.
Error: reference to undefined property E.queue
    Location: http://foo.org/wp-admin/load-scripts.php?c=1&load=jquery,utils&ver=d24248fe4b0cd62086633fd42ef1019b (line 19)

    2.
Error: reference to undefined property o.cache[H][E]
    Location: http://foo.org/wp-admin/load-scripts.php?c=1&load=jquery,utils&ver=d24248fe4b0cd62086633fd42ef1019b (line 12)

    3.
Error: reference to undefined property this[arguments[0]]
    Location: none noted

    4.
Error: reference to undefined property I[K][J].data
    Location: http://foo.org/wp-admin/load-scripts.php?c=1&load=jquery,utils&ver=d24248fe4b0cd62086633fd42ef1019b

    Thoughts or recommendations? Thanks!

I know there's been so many issues with Gears they've considered taking it out.

I think I'll uninstall and see if that helps.

I just checked and Gears wasn't authorized for the website I'm having the trouble with so I don't know what it could be at this point. Guess I'll try disabling some plug-ins and see if one of them is interfering.
