I haven't actually gotten anyone to signup to my site and before I really try to I wanted to make sure my setup was working right or is as simple as possible. Here is what it looks like.
1.New User fills in details in wp-signup.php and submits. No blog needed.
2.User checks email account and clicks activation link
3.Link leads to page on my site that shows the new password. PW is also emailed to user.
4.User still not logged in, has to copy pw and login.
5.User logs in but needs to change pw if he wants but does not have to as it will continue to work?
Are there ways to simplify this besides the "password at signup" paid plugin that I am missing? When you click the activation link is it supposed to log you in by any chance?
