    Hi!
    I have a wordpress blog on http://www.thedreamdayproject.com
I have also recently created a portfolio (also with wordpress) on krystallia.net

After setting up the portfolio I realized it was a bit unnecessary to have two domains and now I would like to do this:

Create my portfolio (which is currently under krystallia.net) at thedreamdayproject.com and then move my current blog from thedreamdayproject.com to a subdirectory that I would like to call thedreamdayproject.com/blog.

Before I start messing things up I would like to ask if this is actually possible???

And does anybody have any suggestions on how to do it as smooth as possible and without not loosing any content?

I would be very thankful for some suggestions!

    Krystallia

The only problem I see is MU in a subfolder install hijacks the /blog/ permalink for the main blog. you'd have to call the second one something else.

So - wait till 3.0 comes out, it will be the smoothest way. Then enable the network (there will be instructions in the codex), and make a second blog. For the "old" blog, just use the internal Export button to get all your entries. then go back to the your new second blog you just made & Import.

It seems like this could easily be handled by the single install of wordpress that you already have at http://www.thedreamdayproject.com.

A simple category structure and custom homepage would give you the effect you desire.
