Outbound links are ALWAYS broken! (3 posts)

After having spent ages setting up my WPMU install I was more than eager to get bloggers going and posting on our site. I thought that I had things done but I noticed a fundamental flaw which I'm hoping is localized to my blog and has a quick fix.

Whenever an outbound link is placed in a post anywhere on my site, including on the main wpmu site and any sub-sites (I'm using vhosts), the link is appended with the name of my wpmu domain, and subsequently sent to the wrong location.

E.g., if a user tries to put in a link to http://www.yahoo.com, then their blog will display it as (http://subdomain.mydomain.com/www.yahoo.com/)

Is there a fix for this? Does it have to do with my .htaccess file? I'm willing to cope with it happening on the wpmu home site, but it really renders the user blogs unusuable on the subdomain sites.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Remember to add "http://" in front of the link ..
