The MU forums have moved to WordPress.org

My Contributor is not able to view his posts? (5 posts)

    I added a contributor it sent him an email and password he can log in and do his stuff, however he does not have a PUBLISh button only Save & continue and Save?

    How can I allow access formy contributor to publish his stuff?

    So his userlevel is contributor? Do you want him to just add content to *your* blog, or will he have his own?

    User levels are explained here:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities

    If oyu want him to be able to publish to the same blog as you, you'll have to bump up his userlevel. This is NOT the same as the intended use of MU, which is for each user to be the admin of their own blog.

    Ahhh just a question here... is Level of Users only for MU?

    it doesn't say really, cuz what i can do is just get a normal world press blog system and try to add my editors, would that work?

    No, it's not just for MU. That's the general Wordpress codex, so yeah the regualr Wordpress, if you only want a small handfull of contributors on ONE blog, would probably be the better way to go.

    MU is more for hosting multiple blogs.
