Deleted my htaccess, How to get it back? (4 posts)

    Hi,

I installed the quentin theme (from WPMUDEV.ORG) and in the admin panel, selected it as my new theme. I should not have done this as a static home page was already in place.

Now, my htaccess file is gone and problems are arising, such as the default blog taking place over the static home page, and dissapearing images.

My question is. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

So... you switched theme, and the htaccess somehow got blown away? Without it, the site would be inoperable, I think.

Did you switch the theme back?

    (UPDATE)

I switched the home blogs theme back to the WordPress MU Home Default 1.5 and the htaccess came back with it, returning the original home page.

Images and Comments were not working so I found this fix:

Everthing appears to be working now.

Thanks for your help andrea r

That's the old one. Donncha rewrote it. You may want to check it against this one. Please note that it might require editing.
