The widget "Recent Sitewide posts" displays a link to the post and the article. But the widget "recent posts" (on a subdomain blog) only displays a title and a link - why?

Posted 13 years ago #I've tried other widgets such as the "Enhanced recent posts" widget but still I only get the post title, and not a description of the post. :-/

Why not just modify the code to get it to display what you want it to? if you look instead the file in question, you should see the function call. You should be able to lookup on the codex to see what variables you can pass through it.
