If i have totally screwed my install up. I was trying to instal WP3 beta2. Can i revert back and upload another brand new WP 2.9.2 file to the server. Replace everything, wp-content, wp-includes, wp-admin and all those other php files in the wordpress folder.

I know your not supposed to delete the content folder but i think i half deleted it and swopped it for another of wp3 and im not sure what happened.

Can i just rename a totally new upload of wp 2.9.2 to my blog and change the .htaccess and wp-config.php username and passwords back etc. And restore the 2.9.2 again? Or a way to renew a wp3 install. I want three really but anything will do now to get it back!

if you have completely stuffed it up what can i do to go about a complete new go starting a fresh again. I do have a backup of the database but hope i dont have to go there!

I've got copies of the uploads folder and plugins folder so can put them back in the new content.
