Hi, does anyone use multi-database in wpmu? Do you like to share it?

No, he means setting up MU to use more than one db for all the data. (ie; once there's so many blogs, the next chunk all go in another db, and so on...)
I am not sure how many people have done it - not many. I know we're planning on doing this to our install, but haven't had the time yet. We WILL share it when we've done it though.

I've been thinking about a method of dividing up the blogs.dir into chunks myself.

I'm working on it myself. Only, I'm not using the built in code (which doesn't seem really functionnal actually) because it only solves multiple databases issue, not multiple web servers (and particularly not multiple hard disks / blogs.dir folders).
I'm basically working on a solution using mod_rewrite, mod_proxy and dns stuff, so that I can keep MU as vanilla as possible (there are still changes needed, especially when creating new blogs and accessing the main common tables which have to be kept all in one DB).
    Fun stuff.
