Tag the thread with a modlook and move on.
If you need to leave a specific reason, either post your reasoning in that thread or leave an additional tag like "modlook ~ spam" or "modlook ~ sig link". Do note that that you still need to leave a modlook tag though if you leave an additional one.
Most forums have such a reporting mechanism if they don't have something built in.

Checking just now, I see that the mods have taken care of it. I occasionally sleep, myself. I'm on my tenth 40+ hour "day" in a row.
